In terms of name, it derives from “Pasar Apung” which means the floating market. For the information, this unique place is located in Cipambuan Village and belongs to Babakan Madang Sub-District. Here is the thing in Indonesia. Instead of selling groceries, this site offers various food vendors for tourists to enjoy especially seafood. Despite the name, the food courts reside on the river bank instead of on water! Still, tourists can get a boat and ride it to explore the river on site (freely).

For example, at the A area, visitors can enjoy good foods like snow ice, pong tofu, noodle Soto, cakwe, siomay, Javanese noodle, etc. As for the B section, they can enjoy Balinese rice, fried duck, chicken rice, gudeg, etc. Here is the tip. The seats are limited, so it is not recommended to come to the site at noon due to the high number of visitors.
Aside from the foods and nuance, Ah Poong Market is famous for its boat facility. Tourists can even use the boat freely to explore the river! The boat can accommodate up to 4 people, in fact.
